IA España is an independent editorial project about artificial intelligence tools, aimed at businesses, freelancers and professionals in Spain. There is one person behind it: Álvaro Cimadevilla. There is no company, no network of freelance writers and no agency. The person who writes, checks the prices, maintains the calculators and answers email is the same person, and that is also the name credited on the articles.
We put it that way because that is exactly what there is. The site was built with no outside investment, no commercial pressure and no team to spread responsibility across. When the only person maintaining a site also signs its work, the quality is easier to spot: there is no list of names to attach a mistake to, and that forces more verification, not less.
This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. There are no paid articles, we do not sell data, and we do not charge for reviews. The full explanation is in how we make money.
We cover a market that changes every few months. That demands a stricter standard than a generalist blog, because an outdated number stops being imprecise and becomes misleading. Our rules are four:
We write in Spanish and English and keep both versions. The English one is a translation of the Spanish, not an independent text: when the two differ, the Spanish version governs, because it is the one reviewed first.
Model prices are stored in a single file in the code and every page reads from there. That lets us correct them in one place instead of fifty, and it is also what allows us to say honestly when each one was last checked. The methodology page explains the process step by step.
If you find an error, a figure that is no longer accurate, or a tool we have left out, write to alvarocimadevillawebs@gmail.com. Errors get fixed and logged on the corrections page. Suggestions for tools worth covering are welcome: some of what we publish arrived that way.
